User Groups
Users in GLOBAL are assigned to Users Groups. Each User Group is a collection of User Roles that determine the options individual Users have to access and work with items in GLOBAL. There are three original User Groups in GLOBAL: Maintenance Users, Maintenance Managers, and Maintenance Admins. All three groups have the same basic options to access and work with items in GLOBAL. Maintenance Managers have options in addition to those available to Maintenance Users, and Maintenance Admins have the greatest number of options to access and work with items. The following table shows examples of the options available to each of the User Groups:

Note: While the three original User Groups in GLOBAL are designed to fill the needs of most organizations, User Groups can be customized by users with Administrator permissions. User Roles can be added to or removed from an existing group, or can be used to create new User Groups.
